Michelle Elaine Faulkner/ Mullins Born in Columbus, Ohio on November 9, 1958. She is the middle child, of two sister's Annette, Kathy, Mullins, and brother Steve A. Mullins. After graduating in 1977 from Columbus East High School Michelle needed more out of life. She decides to enroll at Ohio, State University. However, Michelle could not manage to stay focused on the large campus and soon dropped out of college never knowing why she enrolled in the first place. She had been told all her life she, was a slow learner in school growing up. Ms. Michelle had a jealous boyfriend, who had returned home from the Navy. With his never-ending jealousy, he became physical with her one night after he had asked her mother if he could marry Michelle. Michelle's mother told him no. It was arranged for Michelle, to leave Columbus, Ohio to move to Atlanta, Georgia. Sometimes a mother has to save their daughter's from the ugly situations their children, get themselves in that they cannot see.              

 

Michelle E. Mullins moved to Atlanta, Georgia July 1979. Over the years she has worked many jobs to support herself. She married Mitch E. Faulkner Sr. In July of 1982 and became Mrs. Faulkner. Mitch and Michelle have a son, Mitch E. Faulkner II in 1983. The couple divorced in 1990. Michelle continued working as a single mother.  She finally landed a Job with Benefits, a Receptionist position with Bear Stearns Co., Inc. in April 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia Buck-Head Office.  Over the years as a receptionist Michelle discovers she is a Poet, Writer, and Illustrator who wants to put her work in print. She publishes her second book (Healing Secret Seeds of A Poetic Heart). In February 2009 a true love, story and family book for parents, and their teens. She has created and illustrated 39 children's easy style learning books. 

She has finished 3 of her children's story books and 1 poetry book.   

 

INSPIRATIONAL FAMILY BOOKS for The Seed and Ms. Flowerpot) A wonderful book about love, friendships, and kindness. Michelle's books, are to help encourage children, to stay focused on love, and to stay away from Bullying each other. Another sickness, that has taken the lives, of many of our young children. To create, children, has been a dream Michelle, continues to make come true.  After being a Receptionist for 15 years Michelle is unable to work any longer as a Receptionist due to painful (Arthritis) in both wrists. On May 5, of 2010 Michelle became disabled to work for the company. Michelle continues to promote the work she, has been creating since 2004. Why would anyone want to take their wisdom, to their graves? Sharing our knowledge is the best gift, we could ever leave to our children. Families should be built on truth's not lies, and when we allow others to (Rob) us of the truth, we allow them to take away our Morals, leaving us with nothing to give to our children.  There is nothing Godly about being dishonest in this world. When you come from a past of generational curse women, who have been breeding dishonesty and hate. It is time to fix that curse. Like it or not it must be done, no matter who doesn't like it.

 

There are too many families, that are breeding the good hair crap, light skin crap, half-breeds crap, my favorite niece/nephew crap, there is nothing wrong with the color of your skin. There is no skin color that is better then the other skin colors. There is nothing wrong with the textures, of a Black women's hair, or the mixed chicks hair. If you have a problem with the way she wears her hair, whoever you are you need to do some serious evaluations with yourselves.  Corporations should not be dictating to Black women, how they should wear their hair on the job. Many black women have been refused jobs, by companies just because of the textures of their hair. What white Corporate America, needs to do is grow up and stop breeding Racist behavior people have and are moving far away from these types of ignorance and just would like to live their lives and enjoy their families, without this type of discrimination this is sickness and worst then being bullied.         

 

 

This is clearly discrimination and it has been going on for centuries that needs to stop! These are my views as a black WOMAN, who has suffered through all of these Nasty Breedings In America. Correct this mess and maybe, we all can breathe freely in 2015. How can the average Black woman, rich or poor live freely in her own skin.? When the rest of the women, in the world are free to live and move through this world enjoying their freedom without these types of tainted restrictions. " So it is time for society to stop dictating to black women, and people of color that our hairstyles, are unacceptable." I find you, and your manners terrible and this mess is not acceptable for decades for many people of colors. Our AFROS, BRAID'S, and our LOCKS need to be conformed to fit white corporate America. I don't think so. It's wrong and it needs to stop. People are looking for employment to feed their families, not to be judge by the textures of their hair, or their skin color.    

 

This discussion takes place in my book. Healing Secret Seeds Of A Poetic Heart, on page 95. This is who I am, and who I have become is what I stand for in my Black America. It's 2014 and no one is interested in going back to those ignorant ways. I have been asked what do I like to read? One of my favorite books is Awakening Intuition: By Frances E. Vaughan. I enjoy learning about the Sun and the Moon.  The two most important elements for our lives. Every year there is a SUN and Moon Book printed by LLEWELLYN'S MOON SIGN BOOK AND GARDENING ALMANAC for the sun and the moon.  I enjoy what they did not teach me, growing up in America's school systems. Learn about who you are and you will understand and learn, about who you are not.           

  

 

 

 

Dear Urban Communities,  

 

It has been important for me to bring my stories, to light for families, who's children, may have learning disorders like I had growing up. Even now I still struggle with finding a word in my head. My type of learning disorder it comes and goes. When I am writing something down my mind will go blank and I can't see the word in my head but when I look up the word in the dictionary I can see it. To me, it's like my memory is working sometimes and sometimes it is not. Some children, are visionaries, creative learners like me, and we don't learn the same way as other children, or how the school system would like for us to learn. We are visionary learners.

 

This is something the school systems will need to fix. You may have a little (Genius) on your hands, and you will never know it because you are forcing the wrong programs to creative children. I am a mother, on a mission to help stop all types of (Racist-Bullies.) However, the Bully of shame, embarrassment, fear, loneliness, or being shy is a very silent bully. When I played on the playgrounds at Eastwood Elementary School in Columbus, Ohio I met all types of Bullies, and they were nasty children. Please make sure that you are monitoring what your children are watching on the T.V. because many of those cartoons promote bad manners. 

 

 

If your skin color, is Mocha, Black, Yellow, Red, Dark, White, Brown, Rag-head, Hoodies L.G.B.T people or whatever you have been labeled. (RACISM,) is a man made Mental Illness, Psychotic Disease that needs to STOP!! We have got to let go of these stereotypes and get to the (Root) of what makes you feel this way in order to clean out your nasty roots. Don't pass Racism on to your children and those around you. This world does not need any more evil being spread in this world we can control it. Now is the time to stand up for what you believe in and help society to change for your children. When I was raising my son, I did not find any original African American Christmas Story Books, in any bookstores. This is my way of leaving my story for all children to read and share my Christmas story book with as many families, schools, hospitals, foster homes, and libraries all over the world.  I may not be the greatest writer in the world yet but I am a pro when it comes to expressing my emotional feeling. The Magic In The Christmas Bubble Book was necessary for me to write and illustrate to show how a loving family could handle the situation about their daughter being bullied at her school in the North Georgia Mountains.
