SECRET SEEDS BOOKS, was created on August 6, 2008 by Author: Michelle E. Faulkner All Rights Reserved. When I looked for books, for my son I did not find any African American books anywhere. I went looking for holiday books, like for Christmas and did not find any black Christmas books. This was disappointing for me, as a mother. I begin questioning why there wasn't a (Christmas Book with People of Color ) for families. I felt confused and lonely without having a African American Christmas Story Book for my son, I decided to create this book.     

 

I asked myself how would children of color understand who they are?  When will they be able to see themselves inside a Christmas story book? So when I begin to create (THE MAGIC IN THE CHRISTMAS BUBBLE BOOK) my son, was in the Air force a grown man. I am very happy to have written, illustrated, these books to share with all children, of all colors, in America. We need more books, for children concerning love, instead of creating violent cartoons.  Not all cartoons are violent; but we have more violent cartoons than we need.  I would love, to see my books as animation movies for children some day.  Be kind to each other and love one another and grow together.
